“Yoga is a priceless gift from an ancient tradition. It embodies the unity of mind and body, thought and action, restraint and fulfillment, harmony between man and nature, a holistic approach to health and well-being. It's not about exercise, it's about discovering oneness with yourself, the world, and nature."
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
It is hard to find a better interpretation of what yoga practice can mean to us. While practicing asanas and pranayama for maintaining good health, we must also realize that the next step is to adopt a life attitude based on responsibility and sharing.
We invite you to a unique yoga workshop led by the former Indian ambassador to Poland and Lithuania, Chandra Mohan Bhandari. Guru served in the Indian Foreign Service for 35 years (1974-2009). He was also the Indian ambassador to Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates and a participant in Indian diplomatic missions in Bangkok, Oslo, Lagos, Canberra and Toronto. He received formal training in Hatha Yoga as part of his initial civil service training at the National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie in 1974. He considers the Bhagwat Gita and Patanjali's Yoga Sutras to be the classic and most important sources of knowledge on yoga.
Chandra Mohan Bhandari has been promoting yoga in Poland and around the world for many years. He chaired four international scientific conferences devoted to this field, which were held in Sulisław.
